A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in an arson that occurred July 1 in the 2500 block of Woodstock in the City of Northville.
The reward, announced Aug. 10 through CrimeInTheD on behalf of Detroit Rewards TV, puts the unsolved case back in the public eye about six weeks after the fire. Detroit Rewards TV is operated in partnership with the Detroit Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Michigan. The program typically features Detroit-area cases; it is unclear why it is involved in a Northville investigation.
Police are looking for a man described as between 34 and 45 years old and approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall. A photo of the suspect accompanied the announcement.
No arrest has been made. No official case number, fire damage details, or property type have been publicly released.

Anyone with information should call 1-800-SPEAKUP (1-800-773-2587) and mention Detroit Rewards TV. Tips can also be submitted online or by text. The Crime Stoppers tipline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and callers remain anonymous.
To be eligible for the reward, tipsters must submit information through the Crime Stoppers line before providing it to law enforcement, according to the Detroit Rewards TV program page.
