The Northville Township Police Department will host its annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 10, offering free Halloween fun for families.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the front parking lot of the Northville Township Essential Services Complex, 40911 Seven Mile Road, according to the chamber’s event listing.

Families can expect decorated vehicles, music and treats, according to the township’s Facebook announcement. Costumes are encouraged.

Local businesses and community groups are invited to participate by decorating a vehicle and handing out candy. Participating organizations should bring candy to share and arrive at about 10:30 a.m. for setup.

Admission and registration are free. The township asks families planning to attend and organizations decorating a vehicle to complete a brief signup form to help organizers plan.
