Novi Craft House will offer a $56 three-course prix fixe dinner during Detroit Restaurant Week, which runs Monday, Nov. 2, through Sunday, Nov. 8, at participating restaurants across metro Detroit.
The casual American restaurant inside the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel at 21111 Haggerty Road is among the participating options close to home for Northville and Novi diners. Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, at 17107 Haggerty Road in Northville Township, is also on the list. The organizer also lists Benihana’s location at 21150 Haggerty Road.
Hyde Park’s Northville Township menu page shows a $56 three-course dinner available Nov. 2-8. First-course choices include lobster bisque, a wedge salad and Caesar salad. Entrees include a 6-ounce filet mignon, salmon filet, chicken Milanese and crab cake Oscar. Dessert is a flourless chocolate torte. The deal is dine-in only with no substitutions.
Participating restaurants offer three-course dinners priced at $36, $56 or $76, excluding tax, gratuity and beverages, according to the Detroit Restaurant Week website.
Novi Craft House’s posted menu includes entree choices of steak bites, salmon or butternut squash ravioli, with apple cobbler, a chocolate brownie or pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.
A dollar from every Restaurant Week meal will benefit participating nonprofits, including the Rugiero Promise Foundation, Pewabic Pottery and COTS Detroit. Pewabic is a nonprofit pottery studio on Detroit’s east side that has operated since 1903. COTS provides shelter, housing and support to families experiencing homelessness.
Diners can download the Detroit Restaurant Week app to browse menus, check hours and earn points through restaurant check-ins and other activities. The participant who earns the most points wins $500 in gift cards. Checking in at four participating restaurants enters diners into a separate drawing for another $500 in gift cards, according to the organizer.
The organizer lists 24 participating restaurant names, some with multiple locations.
Organizers advise diners to expect waits and check the app for carry-out availability, since some offers require dining in.
Other participants include Besa, The Whitney, Kona Grill and Sexy Steak. Menus and hours are available on the event website.
