Novi court warns residents of fake DMV text scam

The 52-1 District Court in Novi is warning residents about fraudulent text messages claiming to be from the “Michigan DMV” and requesting payment. The court says it never sends payment links by text and advises residents to use its official payment portal. The courthouse also announced it will be closed to the public Thursday, Nov. 5.

Northville firefighters train with Black Hawk helicopter Wednesday

Northville Township firefighter/paramedics will train alongside a Michigan Army National Guard Black Hawk and a University of Michigan Survival Flight helicopter at Millennium Park on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in the department's first joint exercise with the National Guard.
